A mother’s blessing ceremony

Historically, a blessingway is an old Navajo (native American) ceremony, which celebrates a woman's rite of passage into motherhood. Today, the ceremony is still drawn upon in modern ceremonies to welcome new life. On this beautiful day in early 2019, Kat was expecting and was surrounded by so many beautiful, loving, and caring women who gave their blessings and wishes for the soon to arrive little one and mother.
